Who we are

yulllc.com is the website of YUL LLC, a company registered in Florida, United States. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean YUL LLC. We are responsible for the personal information described here. For anything about privacy, email contact@yulllc.com.

This policy covers yulllc.com only. Our other websites, such as Conversation Starters World and ESL Conversation Questions, have their own privacy policies, and those apply when you visit them.

What we collect

When you visit the site

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site for us. Like any web server, it receives technical information with each request: your IP address, the page or file requested, your browser and device type, the referring page, and the date and time. Cloudflare uses this information to deliver the site, keep it secure, block abuse, and diagnose faults. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we don’t keep our own server logs of visits. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

When you email us

If you write to contact@yulllc.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to deal with your request, such as a partnership, licensing, or press inquiry. These emails are handled by our email provider, Namecheap Private Email, under its own privacy policy.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare’s analytics to understand how the site is used, such as how many people visit, which pages they view, which sites sent them, and how quickly pages load. Some of these numbers come from the requests Cloudflare already handles. Cloudflare Web Analytics also adds a small script to each page that reports the page address, the referring page, your browser and device type, and page-load timings. It doesn’t use cookies or other storage on your device, doesn’t create a profile of you, and doesn’t follow you across other websites. Our statistics show totals, such as page views and top countries, not profiles of individual visitors. Cloudflare’s security tools can show us some details of individual requests they block or challenge, such as the IP address and page requested, and we use those only to protect the site. When you play music or open a video

The album player streams audio and short video loops from this site. We don’t record what you play. The video thumbnails are images hosted here; nothing from YouTube loads until you click through to it.

What we don’t do

• We don’t use advertising, tracking cookies, or cross-site tracking tools. Our only analytics are Cloudflare’s cookieless statistics described above.
• We don’t embed third-party players, widgets, or social buttons. Fonts, images, audio, and video are all served from yulllc.com itself. The only outside code our pages load is Cloudflare’s analytics script.
• We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
• We don’t ask you to create an account or fill in a form.

Links to other sites

The site links to our own projects and to services such as Amazon, Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. When you follow a link, you leave yulllc.com, and the other site’s privacy policy applies.

Our legal basis

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interests to run a secure website, to understand in aggregate how it is used, and to reply to people who contact us. If you email us about a contract, such as a licensing deal, we may also process your information to take steps toward that contract.

How long we keep it

Technical request data and analytics data are kept by Cloudflare for the limited periods described in its own policies. We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep reasonable business records, and then delete them.

Where it’s processed

We are based in the United States. Cloudflare runs a global network, so request data may be processed in the country closest to you as well as in the United States. Emails you send us are handled by Namecheap Private Email under its own privacy policy, and may be processed outside your country. Cloudflare describes the safeguards it uses for international transfers in its privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, or to receive a copy. To make a request, email contact@yulllc.com. We may need to confirm it’s really you before we act, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.

If you’d rather not send page-load data to Cloudflare Web Analytics, you can block its script (static.cloudflareinsights.com) with a content blocker; the site works the same without it. Cloudflare still receives the basic request details described above, because it delivers the site.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we don’t track you across sites, and no third party tracks you across sites through yulllc.com, so these signals don’t change anything here.

If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we keep what we hold to a minimum.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles personal information, for example by adding new analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page and the effective date at the top before the change takes effect.
